Woodworm Alert!

October 15, 2010

We have notice that this year has been a good breeding year for woodworm.

Woodworm is a tiny grub that is laid into the wood by the adult insect and then turns into a beetle, this beetle eats its way out of the wood by the tell tails signs of tiny little holes. The beetles are very small approx. 3-5mm their main period of flight is between the months of May to September, so best to leave logs outside during this period
